Takia is infrastructure for care. These terms reflect that mission. We will never use legal language to trap you, extract value, or harm people.
If these terms ever conflict with dignity, dignity wins.
What Takia Is
- 🥣Community owned: This platform belongs to the people who use it, not investors or shareholders.
- 🛡️Crisis ready: Built to work even when systems fail. Offline first, resilient by design.
- 💚Dignity first: No feature that harms people will ever ship. Human override on everything.
- 📖Open source: Code is public. Decisions are transparent. Community can fork if we fail.
Your Rights
- ✓You can leave anytime. No penalties, no guilt.
- ✓You can pause your involvement. Life happens.
- ✓You can delete your data. We will comply within 30 days.
- ✓You can export your data. It's yours, not ours.
- ✓You can question any decision. Humans override systems.
What We Don't Do
- 🚫No data extraction: We don't sell your data. Ever. To anyone.
- 🚫No surveillance: We don't track you across the web or build profiles.
- 🚫No ranking: We don't score people by worthiness or need.
- 🚫No exposure: Recipients stay anonymous. Always.
- 🚫No lock-in: You can export everything and leave.

Volunteers & Partners:

Coordinators:
- • Verify kitchen safety and legitimacy
- • Ensure fair distribution
- • Maintain transparency
- • Support volunteers
Liability & Disclaimers
Takia is provided "as is" for community use. We work hard to keep it safe and reliable, but we can't guarantee perfection, especially in crisis zones.
Food safety is the responsibility of kitchens and volunteers. We provide coordination tools, not food safety certification.
In crisis zones, use your judgment. If something feels unsafe, don't do it. Human safety always comes first.
Changes to Terms
We may update these terms as Takia grows. We will notify you of major changes and give you time to review.
If you disagree with changes, you can leave. No penalties.
